Description
Real Edible Gold Mustard Ball
Genuine Tewkesbury Mustard
A mustard ball wrapped in edible gold. Weight 60 g (2 oz).
This ball is a representation of those that adorned the banqueting table of Tewkesbury Abbey when Henry VIII and his queen, Ann Boleyn, visited the town in 1535.
Such extravagance did not save the Abbey at the dissolution only a few years later.
The ball is made with Mustard flour, cider and horseradish with the wrap of edible gold leaf.
Shave off what you need straight on your food or reconstitute on your plate with a drink of your choice.
Store in a cool dry place, use within 6 months of purchase for best taste and quality.
